The 2024 Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index, prepared by TÜBİTAK to evaluate the innovation and entrepreneurship capacities of Turkish universities, was announced to the public on May 28, 2025. The index ranks Türkiye’s top 50 entrepreneurial and innovative universities based on 23 indicators grouped under four main categories: “scientific and technological research competence,” “intellectual property pool,” “cooperation and interaction,” and “economic and societal contribution.”

Our university, which ranked 39th in 2020, 33rd in 2021, 31st in 2022, and 27th in 2023, achieved significant progress in 2024 by advancing six more places. Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI evaluated this advancement as a concrete result of strategic efforts such as strengthening the university’s research infrastructure, enhancing university-industry cooperation, and supporting the engagement of faculty and students in innovative projects.

Commenting on the results, Rector ÇUVALCI stated, “With its vision of entrepreneurship and innovation, our university will continue to contribute to national development, produce qualified knowledge, and transform this knowledge into social benefit with determination.”
