The University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) Research Laboratory within the METU Graduate School of Informatics, which prepares Turkish and world university rankings to inform higher education institutions and the public, has ranked world universities according to their fields of science.
URAP aims to examine the positions of universities in our country and developing countries in world rankings with scientific methods and helping universities to identify their areas open to improvement.
URAP provides an assessment of the academic performance of universities in the last 5 years (2017-2021). In the last one, 3000 universities from 121 different countries were included in this evaluation.
