'A Cooperation Protocol' between our University and the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry
A cooperation protocol has been signed between our university and the Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TTSO) with the mission of establishing and developing "University-Industry Cooperation" to contribute to the economic, political, cultural, artistic, health, tourism, and sports activities of the region and the country.
The signed protocol aims to contribute to the development of the region by supporting academic and economic activities that align with our country's goals and creating a platform for academic study to be conducted in parallel with economic developments. Additionally, it is thought to have joint projects between KTU and the business community and share ideas and practices for projects, education, R&D, and related fields by establishing communication channels between TTSO Vocational Committees and relevant departments at KTU. With this protocol, it is planned to create a culture of collaborative work in society by ensuring the necessary technical and academic knowledge exchange in determining, planning, and implementing vocational and technical education within the scope of the projects. This will contribute to the internalization of concepts such as analytical thinking and research culture. In addition, this protocol will ensure the introduction of high-value-added products to the regional and national economies and contribute to the creation of social responsibility projects that can offer solutions or raise awareness about social issues. Through a culture of collaborative work, the region will be a role model in university-industry cooperation and have an active role in the development of our country. The cooperation protocol, developed to support the studies to be conducted by making the company and sector information published in the Trade Registry Gazette available to researchers in accordance with KVKK regulations in the context of "University-Industry Cooperation", was signed by Karadeniz Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI and TTSO (Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry) President Erkut ÇELEBİ.
